FRIDAY, March 21st
Victoria kept raising her hand and saying, "Me__ too!" during family scripture study. I was teaching her and the Wagstaff children (6, 6, 4, and 9 month old Peter) an excerpt from Jacob 2. After explaining that God told his prophet Jacob what the people were thinking I asked each child individually what he/she was thinking. The Wagstaffs each answered, "Jesus," and Toria followed suite. They were pretty good listeners.
SUNDAY, March 23rd: We had this conversation at the beginning of Sacrament mtg. while we finished out breakfast quickly in the foyer.
M: Can you whisper?
V: But there's no Dad.
M: confused Because your Daddy isn't here...?
V: Yes, because my Daddy is not here. I can only whisper with Dad.
Luckily her speaking voice is sweet and moderate in volume.
Throughout the month Toria has been saying. "Bye mom. I going to Egypt to visit my friend Egyptus." She really likes learning people's names and is impressed and confused that the scriptures only name one of Noah's daughter in-laws. Noah and the ark is a new favorite bedtime story. She has also started saying thanks instead of just thank you.
Taking Dad to see Egyptus
